Why do you need the qualification?
Under regulations proposed by the European Government, by 4 July 2010 Companies dealing with F-gases MUST have appropriately qualified personnel. If you are directly involved with the recovery or handling of fluorinated gases including R134a, you won’t be able to purchase F-gases after July 4th 2010 without certified personnel at your workshop.
What qualification does eXponentia! offer?
eXponentia offers the IMIAL Level 3 Award in Automotive Refrigerant Handling (EC842-2006) (QCF). This qualification is approved by DEFRA and is issued by IMI Awards.
The qualification is valid for life and does not have to be renewed.
The assessment consists of 2 elements: practical assessment and IMI Awards test.
All eXponentiasessions are aimed at technicians with already proven working experience and are not suitable for the apprentice level.
